Southern Utah is an extremely dry area of Utah. However, it does rain occassionally and when it does, there are deluges in
the form of flash floods and the end results are small pools of water that remain for some time before evaporation and being
consumed by the thirsty earth.
Hiking through Arches National Park, I discovered a series of small pools (puddles?) that were left over from a shower.
They lead your eyes to the vastness of the Arches National Park plateau.
